i took these photo’s from the top of an office block (only 5 stories) it was a clear winter morning and as far as i know, i’m the only person to take photographs from up here and to add to this, the building is being demolished this year and it is the site of ‘british leyland trucks division’ and now a part of bAE systems. So as such, these are the only pictures in the entire world from this vantage point and allways will be

I lived in Chorley for 6 months in 1997 in a bungalow bordering that large park you have..the one with swans in the little lake near the middle. I worked in a pub on the other side of the park…it was frequented by off-duty policemen. Do you know the name of the pub? I can’t remember it’s name. If you have pictures of that park it would really bring back a floud of memories..it had a large path/road running through it..
astley park and the rose and crown perhaps

Or will these changing times,
motorways, powerlines,
keep us apart?
Well, I don’t think so —
I saw some grass growing through the pavements today
Where there ever snow in this winter over there?
