Christchurch (Hants not NZ)

I am still searching for info re the hangars at Christchurch.

There were 5 in total during WW2(other than the Airspeed premises)…. the one off the airfield at Warren Avenue/Mudeford lane(later used by the Gliding School)….the Bellman which was also outside the original airfield boundaries to the north of the original prewar terminal area – roughly in the position now occupied by Purewell Electrical,….and three Blisters around the periphery of Mudeford Wood in the centre of the airfield.

Does anyone have any photos of any of these?

Does anyone have dates of construction other than ” during WW2″.

What happened to the 3 Blisters? None of them remained at Christchurch – the blister used by the Flying club in the 50/60s came from either Lymington or Needs Oar Point.( I have eyewitness corroboration on this from someone involved in the disassembly/transportation/assembly- unfortunately he can’t remermber which of the two strips it came from).
Still wanting an exact type for the Warren Avenue hangar.

Finally , I am looking for a decent photo of Tom Marshall (Christchurch Flying Club 1950-60s) for a Christchurch personalia page I am assembling.
