Hi all
just letting you know the time of year again!
Christmas!!
and christmas wont be complete without Lapland,
Just letting you know on the flights im aware of which start this month!
From Manchester First Choice Airways from the 23rd November to Kittila on a Wednesday and Thomsonfly.com to Rovaniemi from the 24th on a Wednesday & Friday
thats all i no at the moment, if anyone has any other Santa Flights let us no!

How much antler room do they need?
Boeing 747 freighter main deck is the highest available pressurized main deck (Beluga is unpressurized, so are Ruslan and Mriya, the only fully pressurized outsized cargo deck higher than that of B747 is that of the Galaxy, which is not commercially available). Both elephants and giraffes have travelled on B747 freighters. The trouble is, B747 freighter is said to be flown by cables exposed in the ceiling of the main deck… so both giraffes and elephants have operated B747!
Reindeer probably are not tall enough to operate B747…

Heres the list of the 9 flights operating from LBA to Lapland this December. Also every chirstmas we get a Santa flight from Leeds to Leeds lasting about 90 mins which is normally operated by Channel Express. (With a Jet2 aircraft)Other Airlines which are normally operate theses flights are from LBA are. Astraeus, Excel Airways, Monarch Airlines and First Choice Airways.

At the moment its deffinately MyTravel operating lapland flights, but i think there may be other airlines involved – Astreus, excel and another. Not confirmed though
