CAT/Compagnie Air Transport had Bristol Superfreighter F-BLHH which carried the name “Dix Huit Juin”. (18th June), also F-BKBI was “Onze Novembre” (11th November)
Anyone know the significance of the dates they carried?
Thanks

I suspect that significance of 11 November is that it is Armistice Day. The only significance that immediately comes to mind for 18 June was de Gaulle’s 1940 radio speech to the French people after the fall of France.
