Cirrus SR20 down in the states, three dead

As a side note, I thought all of the Cirrus SR20’s had the ballistic emergency chute system as standard? it does not appear to have been used.

There is video to be found (hint: on LiveLeak) which shows the aircraft went in nose first into a car parked alone in the car park. Lousy CCTV quality, it is not graphic.

It sounds (and looked on TV) like a crash on landing…not exactly the profile to use the chute.
