Trying to date a photo in which I am holding a copy of Civil Aircraft Markings. The cover photo is a BEA Argosy taking off to the right and there is an ad. for the Airfix F-27 in Aer Lingus markings on the rear cover. My best guess is circa 1960-62. Any ideas?

Ren Frew ,if you are stuck I have a copy that I picked up at a jumble a few years back,there is a bit of underlining and 1 or 2 loose pages but you are welcome to it if you want !!
I work in the BA hanger at Glasgow so I could meet u there if you want it.

I wonder if I’ve got the year right then… Maybe it was 1985 as I’m 99% sure it had a Lufthansa 732 on it ? I bought it at the newsagent in the terminal, just want another copy for sentimental reasons more than anything else.

I don’t suppose anyone has a spare copy of the 1984 edition with a Lufthansa Boeing 737-200 on the cover they don’t need ?

It’s the 1962 edition with a purple and blue cover.
