CKEM as a SHORAD?

I was wondering that the CKEM missile would make a good SHORAD for any size vessel. They are small and lightweight enough, with a range of 8-10km and a speed of Mach 6, they could be used as a short range SAM, or against small boats or even to shoot down missiles, especially with it’s high speed and short reaction time, the new supersonic anti-ship missiles.

I also read that Germany is working on some hypervelocity missiles that could be similarly used.
