After saying last year that 2011 would be the last year of the show it was great to see the council come out and put on the show for at least one more year. There were couple of changes to the show with display line now further out to sea and aircraft flying a lot higher than in previous years. This year saw a much reduced flying programme, but still had some great displays within it. The Vulcan, star attraction of Thursdays display produced the loudest ‘howl’ I have heard from it. Over all was a good display but nowhere near the displays of old where wall to wall flying was guaranteed.

Much the same as Southend, and a number of other locations I would guess.
Perhaps we’ve been spoiled over the years ?
