Hi all,
I’ve been asked to share the following with you.
Classic Flight Night Run Event at AIRBASE, Coventry
Once again we are proud to offer the chance to see the Classic Flight fleet in action before the end of the season – the now annual Night Run will be taking place at AIRBASE, Coventry on Saturday December 10.
This event is aimed at photographers and enthusiast alike, though places are limited to allow room to get that perfect shot! There will be some aircraft this year which have either never been seen at the night run event before or have been absent for some time.
Classic Flight is hoping the following aircraft will be run on the night:
BAe Nimrod MR2
Avro Shackleton AEW2
Avro Anson T.21
Douglas DC3
Hunting Percival Jet Provost
De Havilland Vampire
De Havilland Venom
De Havilland Rapide
Gloster Meteor
Percival Prentice
Fleet 80
As always, all aircraft taking part in this event appear subject to serviceability, so the running list may change.
Gates open at 1400hrs to allow time to tour the AIRBASE hangar and aircraft, with the runs scheduled to start at 1600hrs. Admission to the event is £25 on the gate; or £20 per adult if booked in advance through our website at – http://www.classicflight.com/EveningEngineRuns It is half price for under 16’s.
Any queries – please contact AIRBASE on 024 7688 2616
Regards,
Rich

If weather was anything like last night, it will be cold, clear and with a full moon, so good!
TAF for Brum indicates almost as much for tonight (light SW winds, few clouds at 3500′ and good viz)
