Clocks

I brought some cockpit clocks (AN5743L2) for my T-33 and T-6 the other day and picked up a few extra mindful that these are getting scarce, especially over here in the UK. If anyone needs any for a project or restoration (sorry, no instrument collectors or panel guys please, these are too good for a life on the ground), please drop me a PM.

BW,

Phil

Close………

Hi Ben,

You’ve goy G-CCOY, the T-6D with you. WGHB is the T-33, the ex. Ormonde HB T-33. We’ve got that here on strip-down.

Alexis, HB is moving down to a location near Ipswich. You’re at Bury if I remember correctly, just down he A14? Life’s rather hectic at the moment on non-aviation business, but give me a call and we’ll try and hook up.

Phil

Great photo. Which one is it hiding in the background?

‘HB is coming on OK. Slow process of stripping town to see exactly what we’ve got. Generally it’s in good shape, just suffering nearly 30 years of neglect and “hangar” rash.

Let me know when you want to come up. The aeroplane will actually be moving nearer to you shortly – in fact half of it already has.

BW,

Phil

How much closer? I did PM you a while back.

Clocks

Just cleared out the PM boxes, so messages should be working again now.

Ben, will talk to Ade during the week. With luck my rear fuse should have arrived back today. Will be good to see the old bird starting to look like an aeroplane again for the first time in god knows how long!

Your PM’s are full Phil!

If the below is of interest give me a shout, or anyone else for that matter.

I have a NOS T6 tailwheel tyre (at least that’s what the forum guys tell me it is!) and it’s in excellent unused condition – I would say quite likely airworthy. If it’s of any use to you all I would like in return would be any suitable instruments for a MkV/IX Spit panel – non-airworthy is fine, and in fact preferable.

I have pics if you want them.

Regards, Dean
