Heres an interesting Dc8-73(cf) visiting Warsaw recently.A British Airways 777 (YMMA) also dropped in,not sure of the reason.

Nice ! Pity those new fangled engines don’t have the smokey “look at me i’m leaving” effect 😀

She looks in cracking shape, cracking pics matey. I’ve always been fond of the 8’s. I remember whay back being a kid at Heraklion Airport waiting for a flight and watching 3 ScanAir DC-8’s arrive one after the other from the viewing area.

Not too sure but didn’t DHL DC-8’s take over the Emery flights from MAN for a short period before stopping the service?

Adding on to the “is she going to be a regular visitor” whatever happened to the Emery Dc-8’s that were regulars at Manchester ? Were they swallowed up by other operators or were they scrapped 😡

Super shots there Mr Lomax, the old girl is looking very well for her age.
