Cloud Dance Movie

Hi,

I have been trying for a while to locate a DVD copy of the movie “Cloud Dancer” . It had David Carradine starring as a Pitts pilot and has a nice chase scene with a P51.

Does anyone know where I can find a copy. All seems to be VHS tapes out there?

Thanks

A few years ago I bought the full set of “Tales of the Gold Monkey” from a seller like that. They certainly weren’t HD quality but were good enough. The seller had similar disclaimers to what Newforest said above. I don’t remember if they are multi region or not, as I have a multi region DVD player ( a worthwhile investment if you can get your hands on one). I am totally opposed to this region discrimination as I think that the only thing it is there for is price fixing.

Clue words in the site’s description would be ‘All titles are stamped all regions’ ‘do not expect perfect quality’ and ‘imported from various distributors worldwide’. Let the buyer beware (but let us know how it works out!).

I didn’t really take much notice of the site. I just saw that they were selling the dvd and linked the author to it for them to decide to do whatever they wish. 😎

The complete film used to be on YouTube, appears to have been removed, all that’s left is a copy someone made from their TV

The Mustang sequences were flown by Jimmy Leeward, whose racing P51 had the catastrophic crash at Reno last year.

Do make sure your player can handle Region1

The film.

The Cherokee v P51 chase was cheesy enough, but why, when the ‘hero’ has already commented the strip is a bit tight does he land so long? And why does he, when running through the undergrowth, fall over as the P51 passes about fifty feet over his head. Surely the wake turbulence can’t be that bad.

As you say, no sign of it ever being on DVD

I’m not certain it will have stood the test of time.

The film or the DVD?

AFAIK, the film was not officially released to DVD which is a shame.

Just looked at a very grainy VHS to DVD transfer of the P51 v Cherokee section on You Tube.

I’m not certain it will have stood the test of time.
