Does anyone out there have a spare red landing gear up selector button for a Jet provost, that they dont need? It is made from red plastic or nylon, is about 3/4 inch diameter and has a sort of fork end moulded into the bottom of it.
Any help as always much appriciated.

Anyone got a spare 1 1/2″ flare pistol mounting bracket? Also in need of a A.M (Spitfire) Crowbar, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello Austernj673
I faced the same search for a crowbar for the Hornet and Vampire myself, and being unable to find one, I am making a small batch of spitfire type crowbars shortly. I borrowed an original and made a drawing. The steel has already been bought, and these will be made in the correct 3 pieces and right sizes of material. I should have several sets of clips too.
Please send me your contact details to: dcollins103@hotmail.com
and we’ll see if I can help you?

I have an unpleasant feeling of Deja-vu about the way this thread is progressing. I can see it all ending in tears and tantrums again,
Dont worry, there will be no tantrums etc, on my part ever again ;).
I just put the feelers out, you all know now, so there will be no need for me to Carp on about it, 🙂
I now need to do more work behind the scenes, I will let you know of any developements,

Unipren is getting pretty difficult to find – I use a similar sized wire from RS, but that has a higher current rating.
However, one step at a time!

Indeed, so in the spirit of keeping things moving….
Mark, those cables are on my Vampires – one on each, so right now, I cant help. However, let me see if I can find any plugs and we can make new ones.
Bruce
Bruce,
Understood & no problems. Plugs would be excellent, though also need some fairly hefty Unipren (not sure of the spec) as the MA’s pull quite a lot of current especially at start. The cables are pin for pin so no issues in making them up with the right bits.
Mark.
