Cockpit simulator

Last weekend I visited the topgun simulator at Manchester fantastic setup, it uses the cockpit of a Delfin L 29 and a massive screen which is wrap around the front section of the cockpit. As anyone else been?

Cockpit Simulator

Sorry I didnt take any photos but check out there website www.topgunflightsimulator.co.uk it as a few photos (not brilliant)

Its a very impressive set up, all the gauges work etc without using a screen the guy and his wife who run are friendly and informative, I will be booking another session.

regards

There are realistic sims popping up all over the show. Check you tube and of course google.

I dabble with FS2004 when I get chance, but I’m usually too busy with the real thing on a weekend to ‘fly’ much!

Just a thought – that many, perhaps a majority, of members enjoy “the real thing” more than simulation. I fly FSX a bit, but I am not a huge enthusiast. There are exchanges from time to time and I have gleaned some helpful information on behalf of others. I am sure there are forums specifically for Sim enthusiasts.
