Cockpit & Static Aircraft Request – Croft Circuit Nostalgia Festival – Aug 4/5th '18

I’m involved with the organisation of the Croft Circuit Nostalgia Event, held at the start of August at the former RAF Croft near Darlington, North Yorkshire. Our Nostalgia event is along the lines of the Goodwood Revival, with vintage motor racing, military vehicles, classic cars and we’ve also had some aviation content. We have had visiting aircraft in past years, but due to the grass strip being along side the racing competitors pits area and insurance concerns, we can’t have fixed wing movements while this pits area is full ( unless you wanted to fly in on Thursday, leaving Sunday evening/Monday morning when the pits would be empty ).

For 2018, our ninth year, we would still like to have an aviation presence at the event. We may be able to get some helicopters flying in, but are now looking at static, road transportable aircraft, and cockpits to go on show. Some of our previous contacts are already booked for 2018, so I’m throwing the request out to a larger audience of aviation fans, in the hope that some of you may be interested in trying somewhere new.
