Still desperately seeking the housing/mounting for the bomb distributor as shown below. This is the last piece of the puzzle in terms of my bomb aimers panel.

Does anyone have a small ‘Air milage indicator’ going spare? I saw one a few months back at the Newark jumble, the little counter type display?

Thanks.

Hi,
I did call the person and he described it as

“a griffon engine 5 bladed spinne from Malta, so it must be from a Sea Hornet”.

The only problem I saw with this ID was that Sea Hornets had merlins with 4 blades, so I didn’t persue it.
Many thanks,

There where a lot of Sea fires based at Halfar !!!!

Guess it is pretty unlikely any bits reside in the UK, but perhaps our friends in France or the US may be able to help. I am pretty much after anything Bell P-63 King Cobra related. Could really do with a pair of cabin doors and the Under carriage hand crank. (see pics) I will be at cockpitfest displaying the cockpit so if anyone has anything or knows of anything I would glad to have a chat on the day or by e-mail.

If anyone has these gun buttons, or spares for them, I’d be delighted to see them at CF.

Either version of the twin electric would be welcome, i.e. with or without safety catch.

If by some amazing chance you end up with a spare one Alan, I am after one for the FB5 🙂

Then as for the FB5 generally, main items I am still hunting for –

pair of ammo bay doors
nose cone, or at least the top portion.
torque tubes that bolt on either side of the control column

But that said any single seat Vampire/Venom bits are most likely of interest 🙂

If anyone has any Hornet or Sea Hornet and Stirling parts that they are using as a door stop and are in need of a good home, we would be greatful if you would bring them along.

I have a joint display with John Lathwell for the Hornet and Stirling aircraft projects.

Thanks to David for listing our joint requirements (Stirling and Hornet). Just to add that a Chipmunk windscreen and/or control column would be most appreciated too 😉

David,

Have you been in touch with a chap who has a Hornet prop spinner for sale? I recently saw it advertised in i think the LAA magazine. Meant to PM you with the details but can’t seem to find it now:confused:

I’ll see if I can find a gunsight for you in Poland.

Hi Paul,

Do you have access to GTD-350 and M701 parts?

Thanks
