After attending the 2003 Cockpitfest at Newark, I got to wondering if anyone in the group either collected/displayed or knows of anyone who wish to display their pride and joy at the 20th Transport festival , Fleetwood, Lancashire on July 18th.
Yea I know its right in the middle of the show season, but I do know a lot of People here in the north west can’t make it to DX,Old Warden or Fairford.
I am one of the organisers for the event and as a aviation enthusiast, I think it will make for an interesting aside from the usual, Bikes, Cars, Trucks, Buses, coaches and trams.
The Towns Main street is used, so no soggy grass or mud underfoot. And its free to display your stuff too.

I am actually looking for the cockpit section of a glider that no one wants in order to turn it into a simulator for my universit gliding club, for instructional and promotional purposes….
give me a shout if you know of anything that would suit.
