Our 3rd Aviation Fair is to be held at the old Speke Aerodrome in Liverpool on June 24th. Proceeds will go to the Jetstream Club for continued support for the aircraft there (Jetstream-41, Grumman AA1, Sea Hawk WV838 and Bristol Britannia) and to our local Marie Curie Cancer Hospice.
On the cards for this year are our 3 aircraft, as many cockpits as we can get (6 last year), the Merseyside police helo, RAF Griffon, Jetranger doing pleasure flights and maybe a surprise or two.
In addition there will be classic and american cars, motorcycles, hot-rods, dragsters, fun fair for the kids, many vendor stands, Navy, Army and Air Force – and probably a bunch of stuff I’ve forgotten about!
