Cockpits West & Aerojumble 2014

Following the increasing success of our Easter Wings & Wheels at Halfpenny Green, we have decided to make the Autumn one a two day event as well. It will be on 24th/25th August (Sunday and Monday). Anyone with a cockpit or panel is invited to bring it along on the Sunday, and will be allowed a free aerojumble stall, in the Westbeach Aviation hangar. CockpitsWest will be a one day event, on the Sunday, but everyone is welcome to stay for the second day, and camping is available overnight, Saturday and Sunday. All proceeds from the event will go to the new museum, the Tettenhall Transport Heritage Centre, just ten miles away, and exhibitors will be invited to check progress on the new facility on the Monday morning

Some slight changes to the event. We will arrange a sneak preview viewing of progress at the Tettenhall Transport Heritage Centre on Sunday evening, less than 10 miles away for all cockpiteers and aerojumblers. If you want a table for the aerojumble, please book one in advance, they are free but always in short supply. There are already some very interesting aircraft booked in for the fly-in.

I’ll put it in the diary, Wulfie, and do my best to attend. I’ll drag our old friend Mick along too – the willing victim and all-round good egg!

I’ll plan on bringing the Anson again so visitors should be able to take a proper seat in Aggie Paggie this time.
