So Mark L & PMN are you still up for a meet tomorrow at Leeds/Bradford Airport??
If so where and what time are you going to be arriving. I’ll be up near the cemetry/14 Loop if runway 14 in use by 11:30ish or if Runway 32 in use near the bench next to the tunnel.

Sorry Paul, hope you don’t mind. I just gave your flybe shot a quick going-over on Photoshop. They’re looking pretty good with some post-processing!
Dan…Thanks for the advice! Let’s just say I’m something of a beginner when it comes to cameras. You sure did a far better job in Photoshop than me!
Cheers

Nice work Paul!
Just having a look at the EXIF data on those shots, it seems that you are using an aperture of F2.8. This will make it very hard to get a sharp front-to-back shot. I would usually aim for atleast F7.1, preferably F9-11. Obviously the narrower your aperture
(the bigger the number, the narrower), the slower your shutter speed. This means you’ll have to try extra-hard to keep the camera still, otherwise it’ll blur.
If the weather really is appauling, I’d rather try and keep an aperture in the region of F8,and bump the ISO to 200 or in desperate cases, 400.

Tom
Don’t worry i’ll be up at LBA next friday. I’m destined to get some photos of the Air Europa and that New B757-200 (G-LASB) belonging to Jet2.com.
Out of intrest i,ve just found out that B737-300 (G-CELY) is at Leeds at the moment. She came in on the LS323 service this morning from Belfast. Also G-CELA is roumored to be coming back to LBA tomorrow as well.

Great shots Paul. Let me know when you guys are next up there, I have nothing to do for the next 9 days so would be nice to get up there once or twice in that time!
I’m pretty sure I’ll be up there next week at some point. Possibly Tuesday. I have to learn how to use this camera properly somehow!
