I love Cold War intercept photos. I know acig.org has a nice collection. Anybody have some more? The earlier and rarer the better! Thanks! 🙂

Thanks for the reply! Great photos, just what i am looking for! I love these kind of photos, not exactly sure why, such a neat piece of history. I may have to go look up this book and buy a copy myself!
Anyone have any more? Any of Swedish interception photos? I know that there were some taken and availible, but i have not been able to locate them. oh well.
Thanks for the reply and keep them coming! Perhaps some guys from the Mod Mil have some as well????

If no one else wants to reply to you, I will give you all I have which is not a lot!
If the print is not legible, photo 1 shows a MiG-19 intercepting an RB-47H over the Baltic Sea on September 24th, 1962.
The second photo shows Wang Wei getting really close. Here he is showing his e-mail address to the Americans. Wang Wei was the pilot who was killed in 2001 when he hit the Navy reconnaissance plane.
These photos are from ‘By Any Means Necessary’ by William Burrows and describing America’s secret air war.
