Sorry, typed the date wrong on my original thread. Looking for details, particularly operating locations, of the part played by 19, 65, and 266 Squadrons in the raid on the Cologne Power Stations 12th August 1941.

It’s not the 3 squadrons in question, but I can provide some ‘colour’ from the escorting 263 Squadron

It wasn’t THE Cologne power-Station, it was a power Station of a chemical plant near Cologne. It had nothing to do with the City of Cologne apart from it being nearby. I was at the site several times in the 1990s when I worked for an architectural Company in Cologne. In those day it was operated by a Company named Degussa; the site was known then as Degussa-Knapsack. Today the site is ran by Hoechst and it is till a chemical plant known as Chemiepark Knapsack.
