Coltishall Arrivals

A few images from the photocall yesterday, probably the last time I’ll get to see the Jaguars at their home base before they are retired. Guess that will mean another historic RAF base becomes an industrial estate or something similar 🙁 . Also a selection of aircraft arriving for todays families day.

Luckily i know the Station Commander and the pilot well. I did a fair bit of printing for the show and as a thank you they put me in the backseat…it was awesome!
The pic is of me and pilot Mike Hayes ( skydiving buddy and 2002/2003 jag display pilot ) just after we had landed.
Pic 030 is 600mph and 100ft on the run in for the airfield attack at the start.

Not a parafin burner fan but the third last picture is my favourite out of these.

Nice pictures Gareth.

thanks – the Hurricane did indeed look a bit oily after its flypast with the Jaguars, it was perfectly clean when it arrived about midday

Cracking stuff Gareth, it looks like the TFC Hurricane has a bit of an oil leak!
