I got my Beau from Simviation. They have averything form a Mk1 up to an invasion striped TFX. Very good they are too. check them out mate.

Might do the same thing next weekend

Well, that was great. BUT we had problems. Kept locking everyone out somehow – did anyone try to get in and fail? Bloody thing.

Yahoo also works fine for a “.Net passport”, believe me 😀

Btw, I should reinstall CFS2… Friday is not possible for me, but, if you see a Frank from Belgium, it will be me!

Just open up CFS 2, press ‘multiplayer’ then play it on the zone. Then you need to get a passport etc, and the zone files, and your away.

Tried some Mossies – crap. P38 – crap. Got me a Beaufighter – I bet Stephen Grey would hurry up if he knew how it flies! LOL.

Can’t recall my name on CFS2. I change it occasionally. But count me in.

Friad it wont work with a yahoo account you need a hotmail or a .net passport one

Game zone names

And for those who havent yet shot me down…my zone name is :-
Wrecked_Plane (all the zone could come up with !!!). And I’m flying from Cyprus.

What are your handles and where from ?

We did have…in the dim and distant past…a thread on the old forum which also gave a website for a ‘crack’ that enables you to play CFS2 withought having to have the original cd installed.

Dont know if the old threads are availlable.

Steve, if you get the chance have a go before friday to confirm getting on the game zone. The files Nikumba talked about that have to be downloaded are small files to allow access to the game servers.

Oh, and if you have a firewall (pc sort not aeroplane sort !!!), I find it helps if you disable it for games.

If you get stuck give us a shout here. someone will allways help out…cos we’re good like that !

Do you have a hotmail account or a .net passport if so your half way there. All you need to do is this :

1) Install CFS2 and any other aircraft you want to fly
2) Goto http://zone.msn.com
3) Scroll down the page and click on the section entitled “CD-Rom Required
4) Select Combat Flight Simulator 2: WWII Pacific Theater from the list on the left
5) Skip the add
6) This will then load the CFS2 game room
7) Select Midway under the standard rooms
8) It will ask you for your hotmail account or a .net passport enter these details and login, you may have to specify you handle as well
9) It will ask you to download and install some game zone software, you need to do this to play on the zone.

This is where my help comes to an end unfortunatly. Having never played CFS2 over the Zone i am unsure what happens after you have installed the software, but im sure the other member can fill in the rest.

Hmm, Beaufighter… I could well be up for this. 😉

Only problem is, I’ve never done this sort of thin on line before. I do have CFS1 and 2, but need someone to explain how I go through the joining process please.

Dont forget its not just Mossie’s…I’ve got cracking Mitchel, a twin Mustang, couple of twin boom Lightnings, Beaufighters, Black Widow’s, Flying Flapjack, Skyrocket (Check the last two out …yes they are WW2 and are both prop driven twins !)

All I gotta do is get some more C*rlsb*rg in before we start and make sure my parachute is packed then it time to Rock ‘n’ Roll !!!
