Combat Jets offered to El Salvador?

Hello there, ive recently been told by a good friend that the United Kingdom (between 1972 and 1973) offered El Salvador different jet aircraft aircraft and among them, El Salvador goverment requested, surplus RAF Hawker
Hunter and BAC Strikemaster. Any more information about this?
Also it is known that France offered the Salvadoran Air Force some Mirage F1 in exchange of some MD.450 Ouragan’s (two being preserved near flying condition 😀 at this time) but i dont know exactly why this didnt happen. It was once told that a Mirage F1 came for a demonstration and flew along with the MD.450 Ourgan.

Any more information about combat jets offered to El Salvador’s Air Force?
