Combat Star

Greetings,

Just been going through my father’s logbooks from his service with 35 and 32 Sqn on camberra and noticed certificates pasted into the logbook giving him firstly COMBAT STAR Plotter and later COMBAT STAR Navigator / Plotter.

Just wondered if anyone on here knows what these mean and if they are still used today to grade aircrew
