Comet 2 Engine Question

Looking at the differences between the early Comets, and especially the changes made between the Comet 1 and the 2 (Even before the disasters). DH angled out the inner engine on the Comet 2, but did they do the same to the outer one?

It’s hard to tell from photos – logic says they should have, but at the same time the exhausts on the 1 were separated by the Sprite fairing, whereas on the 2 and subsequent marks they were side by side.

Certainly, looking at Comet 3/4 and NImrod the outer ones are angled as well, but I’m not sure about the 2s!! Anyone help?

Also, can anyone definitely say why the engines were angled? I’ve seen it written that it was to reduce cabin noise, or to reduce fatigue on the fuselage or both!!
