I had the pleasure to go to DX today to see the ‘Commemorate Bomber Command’ display inside the aerospace hangar. A very good time was had talking to a few veterans, and watching the demonstration of crew equipment by the ‘B’5 Bomber boys’ The narration was very interesting and offered more of an insight into the life of Bomber crews and their extremely difficult task. A good mixed appreciative audience felt the same way I’d wager!
I unfortunately missed the signings event yesterday, but today more than made up for the very poor weather outside. All in all a good day out.

Looking good, I know quite a few of the B5 Bomber Boys and have worked with them in the past at living history events, doesn’t get any better than them

Intresting pictures and a great event. This is what it is all about, passing on the stories and information to younger generations. This is a prime example of living history.
