Commercial Photography Targets 2006

hi guys

as above, and to run alongside the other thread, what are we all wanting to photograph, wanting to see, and our new years resolutions as far as the aircraft are concerened

mine are:

1. take some good shots instead of bad ones

2. get a shot of the A380. visit toulouse

3. go to heathrow, and find that bloody myrtle avenue 😀

4. sell all my crap on ebay and buy a dslr

5. make more of a effort in the summer to get some charter stuff at NCL
instead of watching coronation street 🙂

6. visit manchester a few more times

7. take my time at photo’s instead of just snapping from wherever i may be standing….

8. get a photo on airliners.net instead of another rejection :p

so whats yours please feel free to say……

jason

Ok the An-22 might just do it 😀

Actually, I just remembered you might want to wait a bit longer. The Buran space shuttle will join the Speyer collection, but I am not sure when. Do not wait too long though, as a part of the collection is rusting away in front of your eyes. The fact the planes are placed high up on poles does not make even the most basic of maintenance possible.

You need more excuse then that?

How about that concorde sitting behind it? Or the An-22 a few miles down the Autobahn in Speyer?

Ok the An-22 might just do it 😀

Start taking more photos, the camera has barely been used since the MAN meet!! I guess working at the airport takes it out of you a bit. 😉 Best start taking more day trips then…

*Get my DSLR! (Should be in January)
*Go on some more daytrips – hopefully to places such as AMS/FRA/CDG etc
*Visit more UK Airports – Definatley a trip back upto MAN, one to LHR/EMA etc
*Get to another Airshow – whether this be Farnborough/Fairford or both!
*See the A380 (A possible longshot)
*Try out some new spotting locations at BHX (with new camera) – with my current camera there only seems to be one spot thats good enough! (Jon knows where I’m onabout)

A looong list – whether I get to do them? we’ll see this time next year 😉

I jsut made No.5 of most popular pics for the last 24 hours at a-net. 😀 good enough for me.

Very nice Stefan! For the last year or so I could only ever seem to get 5th or 6th place on a.net, but then in October I got top of the day unexpectedly. So keep at it! Since then, I’ve also managed 2nd and 3rd spots. Always comes by surprise.

Hmm hard to think of mine…

I guess that after achieving top of the day on airliners.net this year, I could aim for top of the week.

The other I guess is just to take as many photos as I possibly can. That means lots of day trips, getting myself onto new aircraft types etc. Now that I’ve got my new lense I really have no excuse either.
