Commonwealth Games 2002, Manchester

Hi,

Just wondering if any of your are going to the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Mancester. I am now happy to announce that I will be dancing in the opening ceremony at the new Manchester Stadium. So I will be on TV in all the commonwealth countries. I can’t tell you exactly what is happening yet, as my first rehearsal is tomorrow.

And aswell as this on the 6th/7th of July (yes I know before the main games even start), I will be reprensing England at the Commonwealth games ballroom/latin and freestyle titles competitions in the Blackpool Winter Gardens (wierd I know, but there isn’t a large enough place for this in Mancs).

Is anyone else going to be involved at all?

I agree Min, with Oz now pretty much a firm top 10 Olympic game power, the Commonwealth games needs another strong nation to challenge us for the gold medal tally. Come on Great Britain, come on Canada! Catch up! 🙂

Don’t you guys thinkt the Commonwealth games are getting a little boring nowadays??? Australia’s sporting supremacy within the Commonwealth nations is getting kinda embarassing for the whole competition isn’t it? 🙂

I won’t be going to the games, but I am looking forward to seeing them on T.V., and good luck in your competition and the opening ceremony.
