My camera uses the CompactFlash memory card and as there are alot of different manufacturers of this type, can anyone tell me what the difference is? Which is the best one to get? Where is the best aand most reliable place to buy them from?

I had a couple of “Viking” CF cards from 7Dayshop; I have to say that I wasn’t impressed – one kept losing images & the other locked up completely. 😡
Now I tend to stick with Kingston, never had a problem with them (famous last words!) . The best place that I’ve found to obtain these is from Digital Depot in Stevenage Old Town

I brought mine from 7day shop for around £17 (1gig) although I have a feeling they were cheaper and they are great. I have had no problems and I have had them for nearly a year . They have had a lot of use and no problems so far !!!

The compact flash card’s on the market are vast . end of the day they all do the same thing .
i think they are not a lot in any of them regarding anything special. some will write the data a little bit faster only if your camera can take full use of the speed.
prices are massive in difference. many people will say one brand is better then the other but they all do the same thing end of the day.
7 Day shop, are probably the best place to buy from big range and cheapest prices matched by great service. 4 gig cards selling for £17 ain’t bad in my book.
