Compass text in a Gloster Gladiator?

I wonder what type of text is it on the foot of the compass holder?

Google “6A/387” or “RAF Form 316”. Couple of places that sell the holder + card and have largish pics showing the details.

I’d second that.

Compasses aren’t spot on accurate due to the surrounding metalwork so every compass has a little card noting the corrections needed to fly a true magnetic course.

Almost certainly the correction card.
