My memory stick that I use here to keep stuff on doesn’t appear on the PC when I plug it in as it usually does.
I have two questions:
1. Is it knackered?
2. If so is it possible to retrieve the info off of it?

I tried it on several machines once I discovered it didn’t work on this particular machine but to no avail. I will keep trying different things thanks guys – I think it may still be under a warranty so I will look into that…

Have you tried it into another computer ? If it works there, copy all your data, and get a new one (to make sure), but your computer probably has a problem (badly uninstalled device on removal of the stick)
If not …
