computer question

help….please.
I recently upgraded, okay changed completely, my home pc. As an operating system I have moved from win 98 to XP. Problem is that now when surfing the web, I am not able to see all the pictures I used to to be able to view. Earlier today I was on a flight sim site and was unable to view the downloads page…getting little boxes with red cross in them…..even though I was able to see all the piccies with my old setup.

Is there a setting that I have to alter in XP ?

I know nothing about XP so an idiots guide would be very much order of the day and appreciated.

Bear in mind I don’t drink Carlsberg. Get Belgian in…..

I use 56K, and it’s fine for me. However, you can’t really dogfight a Sunderland.

Thanks Mark

I havent thought of that. I’ll whizz off and check it out. Just tried getting into FSPLANET cos there looks like a good Sunderland download on the DEC 28 page, again all I get is empty boxes..I’ll check out the security settings and see what happens.

CFS2 isnt on my pc at the mo’ but will be for next weekend (I’ve been using FS2004 with the VFR Scenery disc’s loaded just tooling round my area and checking out the geography…its very good…even see my house…well…a splodge anyway.)

How does CFS2 run on a standard modem ? I’ was on broadband overseas and it went well, but back here I’m using good ol BT with a standard modem…bleedin ell its slooooooooow. Thinking of going broadband on cable.

Fancy a shoot up next week or so….been a few months since the last one

HINT TO ANYONE READING THIS…ONLINE COMBAT CFS2 IN THE GAMEZONE….GIVE US AND IT A TRY….ITS ACTUALLY QUITE GOOD !

Reset your security levels maybe?

Does this mean CFS2 needs reloading?
