On the cheetah thread we got on the subject of fly-by-wire tailess delta jets.Since phantom II is offended by off topic discussians,Ill ask here-Has the idea been considered of modifying the concord into a FBW aircraf?This would greatly reduce the control force needed,reducing highspeed drag,and shorten the takeoff run.Also,why dont they use hypercruise engines(supersonic without afterburner)on this bird?
