Seems like yesterday but it was five years ago today since the final scheduled supersonic services. I’ve put all my half decent Concorde into one gallery for easier viewing.

Wow, a whole five years since I took this picture at Edinburgh on the last day of the farewell tour. G-BOAE was shortly to appear live on BBC News 24 landing at Heathrow as part of the final day event.
Favourite memory of 24/10/03 was ATC telling a Scot Airways Dornier crew that Concorde had departed, but if they hurried they could catch her up…:D

The G-BSST departing LHR after its first official visit in 1972 ( it had ‘dropped in’ after a Farnborough show once before this)….and the first service departure (for Bahrein) 21 Jan 1976

It seems the New York example is on it’s way back ‘home’, complete with reattached nosecone, after it’s land bound sojourn at a NY airport (Forget which one, old, closed)

I was there at LHR 5 years ago my how time flies,Strage but true G-BOAC was moved from her normal place to make way for the Hangar build yesterday…………………………………..
