Begs the question.. why not keep her active from the day she flew in.?.. saving time and extra effort needed to correct any deterioration through lack of use. Lack of funds i guess.
But anyway good luck to them in their efforts.

Does this mean we’ll have to suffer through years of…
“Give us money or it will be parked/sold to America?”

If so, I’d rather they not do it. 😀

The good thing is it is not in the UK as we have a delta all of our own demanding money or it will be parked/scrapped whatever.

But if they pull it off and get the money right it could be a good thing but would they take the next step and fly it?

A volunteer group has been working on this particular Concorde for several years – this is an old story rehashed to try and generate further interest and, especially, funding.
I wish them well in their efforts! (Said that before, somewhere).

Not a chance. They’d need ridiculous amounts of money, not to mention non existent spares and support from Airbus, Rolls Royce etc etc.

I always wondered why at least one Concorde was kept in a taxiable condition. I really hope they can do it now though.

It’s all just talk at the minute though isn’t it. Things might not be so straightforward when it comes down to it.
And a 4x engined lemon is no way to talk about the Lancaster. 😀
