Concorde top speed

Sorry for asking this, I’m sure it has been discussed here before…What is the maximum speed a Concorde has ever flown?
The reason I ask is this: all over the internet you read as top speed Mach 2.04 or 2’179 km/h, only in the german Wikipedia I found Mach 2.23 an 2’405 km/h. As there is no source given for these values, I’m in doubt.

Hi Coach

Brian Trubshaw’s book Concorde The Complete Inside Story details the speed tests that took place in G-AXDN at Tangier, Morocco in March 1974 and confirms the Mach 2.23 achievement and claimed “it wouldn’t go any faster!” but does not state a ground speed. He also confirms that G-BBDG achieved Mach 2.21 during testing. All production Concordes delivered to British Airways and Air France were certified for commercial service up to a maximum speed of Mach 2.04.
