I now have my first video on Google Video 🙂
This is something that I did back in 2004 when myself, Matthew Murray and Ren Frew braved a bone chilling October day to witness and film Concordes (G-BOAE) final visit to Edinburgh airport on the final day of service.
Enjoy
A special thanks goes out to Allen (ren frew) for letting me use his horrendously expensive camera and providing me all the footage I need on DVD 🙂 Thanks mate!

They look much worse for wear than me in the morning Sandy… 😀 And didn’t Matthew Murray look young in those days…? (lol) 😀 :dev2:
LOL
Thats Matthew before he grew his grey hairs with trying to figure out 737 mechanics and getting dowsed in Jet-A or Hydraulic fluid on an almost daily basis. he he

I think he was trying to look like some sort of serious reporter. I on the other hand…

Quite possibly in the middle of a 14 day shift and looking a tad rough ? 😮 In fact after the Concorde left EDI, I had to jump in the car and drive to Inverness via Glasgow for a couple of days work. 😀

And here is the master at work, with my “horrendously expensive camera” sadly no more.

Great video i remember years ago my grandma took me and my cousin on a pleasure flight on concord! From Leeds/Bradford i remember the captain coming on the PA and saying due to the runway length they would have to use the afterburners! What a day and what a machine!

“Synchronicity”
And the Oscar goes to…….
Sandy aka Bmused55 !!!
Superb work, Sandy!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
The music, the frames, the aircraft… it all fits perfectly!!!
The song “Adiemus”, featuring vocals of Miriam Stockley, is from the album “Songs of Sanctuary” of Karl Jenkins.
In the 90’s the airline Delta had on german TV and Radio a commercial TV spot, showing many Delta Airlines B767’s flying in formation, in analogy with four dolphins swimming, and the song ‘Adiemus’ in the background!
This spot is one of the best spots for airlines ever! 😎 🙂

Maybe someone has on his PC or knows, where you can find it on the Internet. 🙂
Edit: Found here a link, but bad quality and en french:

Synchronisation (1994/International) : Delta Air Lines, in this commercial, is not only a US domestic airline, it becomes an international carrier with “220 Delta aircraft flying from Europe to the USA. And it’s all a matter of synchronisation”.
Here another link, same video, but slightly better quality!

Just type “Delta” at “Theme or Keyword”!

is it not Enya – Adiemus?
No, it’s definitely Karl Jenkins. I’ve got the album.
