Concorse Winner

Sorry I have been away so long, but we have been in Kent at Hop Farm all weekend at a Mini show.

My Clubby would not run so we took the New one and guess what, we won the concorse First prize. First time of doing it.

As you can see I was very chuffed.

Now now… Wonder where that is and why we haven’t been invited. Maybe they have us!

I keep seeing direction signs around Milton Keynes (where I work) with the legend “MINI SHOW” – shouldn’t that just be abbreviated to “GLIMPSE” ???

Change your internet password she may never be able to get in 😀

Loops slaps me before I even notice them now. It is great I don’t have to look, I just wait till I am slapped and then look around.

This should really be “concours” – short for concours d’elegance

Yes that is what I thought, yet they seem to spell it differently every show we go to.

Did she hit you Ian?

Hey EN830,
I believe that some of them were even held together with wooden battening 😀

That looks like my brothers first car. I like the old traveller, his even had a floor mounted starter button, it was an ‘A’ Reg if I remember right.

The newspaper helps with the streamlining Ian, but you wouldn’t know about that, only being able to do 40 in your Porshe 😀

Anna I have not done anything honest.

…at least it didn’t break down on the way home, which is more than could be said of Loops.

What did you do to her, gloat repeatedly about your success?

Nice Mini, I agree.

It looks good purple with big wheels, you have seen Loops Mini that is the sensible one in the family. Besides Clubman estates looked horrible with that wood trim.

Restoration !!!! I thought restoration meant to return it to it’s former self. Not paint it bright purple and stick a naff set of wheels on it. And you lot knock the colour of my yellow peril !!!!!!

Anyway a mini should look something like this !!!!
