HI THERE CLOUD 9
thanks for your congratulations etc
well it seemed the perfect venue,
being that i have a real passion about Aircraft and the battle of britan in particular , so it seemed a good idea
that we got married at shoreham aiport,
it has a long history ,
in the annals of aviation being the oldest licenced airport in the uk
and having various nations in ww1 basing their squadrons there,
in ww2 amongst other uses the air sea resuce SHAGBATS were based
at shoreham
it has a really good reastaurant etc
and its a good place to go on a sunday run out for a cuppa etc.
cheers
peter…………………….

I think everyone else was thinking of their stomachs judging by the comments about the cake…as no-one has thought to wish you congratulations, so CONGRATULATIONS!

Just out of interest, what prompted you to get married at an airport, bit of a strange venue isn’t it?

So if I’m reading things correctly, which I’m not, almost certainly, Mr Allen got married and someone else, possibly a member here took photographs at the wedding and sent them on to Phil? And the happy couple sent Phil a slice of the celebratory cake?

If I’ve understood that correctly perhaps I SHOULD start watching Eastenders……

From what can be gathered a fellow key publisher got hitched recently, a fellow key publisher was over there and took pics to mark the event s and the groom was being polite and posting his thanks!

There’s nothing quite like a nice woven choux bun, Kev.

I suppose you’re right. After all, Nan’s knit Shreddies.

Tapestry? Tapestry?

So, Grey Area, you, in your position of power and authority as one of our esteemed Moderators, are you seriously trying to tell me you can do TAPESTRY with CAKE?

All those years of silent study at Shirley Stein’s Sunday School for Seamless Seamstresses was for nothing?

Regards,

kev35
