Conspiracy theories ??

Looking at the “What made you want to swear today Post, reminded me of a film, re conspiracies, (Not a true story however) and it made me think, so I googled Current Conspiracy Theories, and was amazed to see that there is, alledgedly, a single pill that has been made, that will cure all forms of Cancer, however the pharmacutilcal Company/ies refuse to market it because it will put them out of business.
What do members think, is it possible that it could be remotely true?.

Jim.

hhhhmmmmmm !! i’d say anything is possible , we live in a society where there is a drug that will extend the life of cancer sufferers ( fact ) but wether you get it or not depends on where you live !!

if a motor manufacturer could build a car that would last a lifetime with no spares needed !! …. would they ??

a further thaught as the world heads rapidly towards over population is it realy a good idea to try to extend everybodys lives !!

and usualy this idea of extending life would be all well and good if we were extending it if we were as we were when we were 20 i myself don’t relish the thaught of extra extentions after my mid 70’s

While that theory is in all probability completely unfounded, it is certainly true that doctors do sometimes prescribe pharmaceutical products where a change in lifestyle/nutrition has proven equally effective.

As a matter of interest, here is something to read…Click here

When Linus Pauling (the only person ever to win two solo Nobel prizes) started researching vitamin C and cancer treatment, the pharmaceutical companies immediately labelled him as a quack. Since then researchers in Canada have found that high intravenous doses of vitamin C does prolong the life of terminally ill cancer patients (note that it doesn’t cure them) without the side effects of chemo.

So the truth probably lies in the middle somewhere (as Mr Boyle says 🙂 ).

.

Conspiracy theorists are loosers, nuts or the mentally ill who get some sort of validation by thinking they know something “special” that no one else knows.

Ah ha, that’s just what they want you to believe….

😉

Now, back to foil hat production, trade is a boomin’ 😀

Jimmy…Jimmy….:(

No. There are too many types of cancers in too many areas for one pill to “cure”.

Conspiracy theorists are losers, nuts or the mentally ill who get some sort of validation by thinking they know something “special” that no one else knows.

As a family member of someone with cancer and having several friends suffering from the disease, I find it abhorrent that people out there would minimize the severity of the disease by coming up with such nonsense.
