Continental livery refresh

I was going to run an april fools gag. Tell ya’ll that I had been accepted to design this for CO for introduction with the new 757-300s they’re going to lease, but for some reasion I decided not to.

I was working on this at 2am this morning…. don’t ask.

I decided to design something that would give CO a slightly sharper look, but still keep the brand as it is now. This way they do not need to update posters, adverts, signs, napkins, interiors etc.
Another benefit is the nose is simply white, saving money by not having to constantly touch up the nose colours due to wear and tear from the wind, hail and rain.

Et voila:

Yes you are the only one 😉

You’ve got it the wrong way round mate.
NWA’s new scheme is ok, but very plain in relation to UA and CO. At least UA and CO’s tails looks correct on both sides 😉
For NWA the right side of the plane, the famous compass logo no longer points North West, but North East.
So they’re Northwest airlines on the left, Northeast on the right. LOL Poor design planning IMO.

You and me both. 😉 Have to keep an eye out for a delayed CO37 departure at some point this summer on a day when CO108/109 is operating and it should be possible to see two B752s (wingletted? 😉 ) side by side!

That will be a sweet sight.

I’ve said it before as have many others but their tail simply rocks. Very hard to beat.

CO’s livery is certainly one of the best around. The tail beats anything, seeing the tail standing at the gate the other morning at EDI just re-inforced that fact. 😉

would have loved to see that CO 767 there alongside the 757. That would have been marvelous 😀

hence why I’ve not changed the colours none 😉

I’ve left the tail well alone. Simply a masterpiece!

Am I the only one who finds the CO livery dull and boring?

It cant hold a candle to UA or the fabulous new Northwest scheme in my opinion.

Sorry to sound like a moaning old fart!
