Happy New Year to all forumites
While I was rummaging through and sadly rather reluctantly sacrificing copies of Flypast and several other mainstream mags over the holiday period to save some space (while keeping parts on aircraft I like) and also wondering around the wonders of the internet.
I thought of several questions for those out there.
I saw the articles about the cache of Burmese aircraft that came out of the country some years ago and apart from the Spitfires (SL633) what became of the rest.?
Likewise whatever happened to the big cache of Ethiopian aircraft that was rescued about the same time?
And finally for the moment
Is this still there?

The Ethiopian Fireflies and F-86Fs (there were others too) went to Gauteng in SA and at least three of the F-86Fs went on to Avspecs in NZ. IIRC two have been restored as static display aircraft.
