Can anyone help with identification of this item.
There are some numbers cast into the column and not stamped although they are difficult to read.
Possibly SW Z5Z or 252 ?
The bottom fitting looks like a helicopter type mount ?
Any ideas as I haven’t got a clue.
For some reason the pictures have appeared upside down ( just to make things more difficult)

Looks too short to be a helicopter cyclic stick. But then again, I’m no expert on some UK type, but it doesn’t look like a Whirlwind, Wessex or other Sikorsky design.
