Is the car registration plate readable on the original print?
There could be clue to general area in that.

I can’t add much, but there is what looks like a J Type hangar in the far right distance, which may indicate quite a large airfield (it’s certainly a long way away). The ground in between is pretty rugged, so maybe Wales, Scotland…?

It’s a lovely photo!
I can’t really add anything useful except to suggest that it looks as though the airfield is already disused, given the state of the grass in front of the tower, and the generally empty look of the building and background?
Does that allow some candidates which have been in continuous use to be eliminated perhaps?
Edited to add: disused as in Care and Maintenance too.

Bit of a tricky one perhaps……especially as it is a fairly typical WW2 type amd there are no useful clues available. I suggest you try finding a copy of Paul Francis’s book on British Military Control Towers published in the UK about 10 years ago – this should identify the specific design and hopefully provide a list of most known locations where most examples were built. Unfortunately my copy of this book is currently in storage.
