Cookie message pop up :(

For me right now, the question is how long it will take before they understand that I do not want to sign up for a newsletter? A popup with that question keeps appearing but there is no way to say “thanks but no thanks”, only to click the cross to get rid of it, temporarily!

The pop-up message now reads as follows:

‘Cookies are required to watch videos and view magazine page-turners’

Shorter, but no less irritating!

I seem to have got rid of it now by logging out and having to agree with allowing all cookies , not what i wanted 🙁  

Intensely irritating. The message pops up on every page I go to. It makes me want not to go to any page of this website at all!

Well, now there is an ad appearing (on the main page) that I have to click away but not the “popup message”.

I logged out and deleted all cookies from key.aero. When reopening the forum, I was asked and allowed all cookies. Next I relogged in and haven’t seen the popup. There are, however, other ads appearing but that’s a tiny disturbance. Nothing to click away.

My god , no pops up today —yet ,maybe someone listened 🙂

Yes, it is an EU thing – it is related to GDPR – the EU instigated law for which remains on the UK statute book (as do all the other EU rules and regulations related laws until such time as the UK Government decides to change or repeal them.

The thing that is driving us all insane is that it pops up again, every time you go to a different page on the forum. It should be set up so that you only need to click it once, and the forum should remember that (until you log out at least). 

Just another clear demonstration that whoever was/is responsible for designing (I use the word loosely) this forum hasn’t got a clue how to do the job properly.

I have never seen it at all before…

The daft thing is that I don’t want to buy anything from the shop or watch videos. But I still get the same pop-up message every time!

no, not at all but I dont have virus protection so maybe that is why.

Using Firefox but no additional ad-blockers or anything else. That popup is driving me away from the forum but maybe that’s intentional on the part of Key.Aero? Cookies are usually allowed or denied from within the website but I can’t find where it is hidden.

Is this the message which says:

Same here. Though I can deselect it, it is very irritating as you say.   (Adblock user)
