Hi all
Just as an aside to a recent post on another forum I would like to establish my position in relation to material I post on the web.
For the record I am hereby authorising the reuse of all material I post on this and other forums including photographs and video as well as written works. This applies to works over which I hold copyright and I will acknowledge work which is someone else’s in which case naturally I cannot approve it’s reuse and that will have to be taken up with the copyright holder.
I would appreciate written acknowledgement of such works when reused however I feel it unrealistic to mandate such acknowledgement.
Kindest regards
John Parker

If you don’t want it copied then don’t post it!?
Like ACIG.org and there “copyright”, yet they infringe on the copyright of others!?
Sign of the times, I’m afraid……….. 😡

hi john,
i think you may be talking about my site, Airwarfareforum.com.
if you read the post you know what i was saying to another member.
i always try to make sure all photo’s and drawing are given the proper credit.
this other member mentioned this site and i pointed out that photo’s are very rarely given copyright credit on here.(old photo’s)
i hope i have not upset anyone.

Well done that man! Trying to enforce copyright can be a very expensive business, especially if it’s outside your country. I think ‘copyright’ went out the door when the Internet was invented and enforcing anything posted is akin to p*ssing in the wind!
People that threaten legal action for such things are calling your bluff unless they have an awful lot of money. Publication ‘in print’ is another matter, again depending on the country(ies) involved and how much money you’ve got!

My personal experience differs frm your opinion, Slipstream.
I have diabetes and my experience of the NHS has been very good – I know many people with the same condition who don’t share that view, but the service is good in parts.
Rob
I’m waiting to have my parts serviced. I too am diabetic and after a rough patch have really nailed my control. NHS is good in some areas and terrible in others. 6 to 12 month wait to get a wheelchair, but I couldn’t have one in that time as there was a two year wait for an assessment.
