Corgi 1/32 Mosquito U/C doors

Have just acquired this HUGE beautiful model, but I am having trouble fitting the u/c doors in the down position.

They have a tiny wire loop on, but there does not seem to be a peg or pin within the nacelle to hang it from.

Any advice please ?
