Corgi Spitfire Model (1:32 scale – Huge!)

Picked this beauty up today! Very impressive model, some much detail etc put into it!

Not bad for a measly £23! (rrp – £100!)

Well if there are any of those available, at that price, at Duxford, I’ll be buying one. However, it’ll probably go straight into storage because my flat is so pokey I can’t even swing a mouse.

sadly all the 1:32 Corgi Spifires have this very unfortunate ‘flat’ wing problem. They are aware of it and say they will correct it when the dies are upgraded for Mk V production. Until then…..

Aha,
I’ve spotted the difference between the increasingly popular diecasts and the goold ol plastic kits.

With a diecast, you get the final result streightaway, and you can blame them for it not being accurate, taking no responsibility for errors or poor build upon yourself. Neat. 😉

A matter of degree.

For one who has taken the odd Spitfire photograph or two – a bit more dihedral would not be amiss.
